My husband sees people,floors and ceiling with holes. Hallucinating is a big part of Alzheimer's.
How do I approach asking my dad to shower, to be cleaner.? He is not changing his clothes often enough as well. My mom is his main caregiver, and this is so stressful for her.
My husband is the same. After much bribing with food or cigarettes I can get him showered and in clean clothes at least 2-3 times a week.
that stinks. does the doc have other ideas?
thanks everyone. took him for tests and found he doesn't have a UTI, just is grumpy.

My mom does not recognize the toilet for what it is and will not sit on it.
May be time for a commode to use bedside!
