How Do I Get My Mom To Sit On The Toilet?

My mom does not recognize the toilet for what it is and will not sit on it.

Yes a yellow seat perhaps, yellow is the last colour to go

Maybe if she’s looking at a block of one colour she’s no longer able to make sense of it. You could try a coloured seat.

Unfortunately we have to lie to them. Tell them that an old friend is coming and he has to sit here so he will come to see him. He will not remember in.an hour. There has to be an reward as well giving the choice.

My Mom does the same thing, doesn’t know what a toilet is anymore. I didn’t know about the color differences. Thanks for that info.

If I don’t watch she will go in the pantry and pee in the trash can. I want to see her do it once just to see how she sits on top of that flimsy thing. Crazy disease!
