I was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in June of 2026. What does that make me? At least I found out early enough to feel like I can have a say. I’m 75 yrs old and have many opinions 😂

Hi Regina! I'm 70 and newly diagnosed as well. With the interventions thru now have and following our Neurolgist's advise of Mediterranean diet, exercise and good sleep, I hope we can both do well. ❤️

While this isn't a location-based community, there are likely many members who would love to connect with you. Getting an early diagnosis at 75 is genuinely meaningful. It puts you in a strong position to:

- Actively take part in your own care planning
- Make important legal and financial decisions
- Learn more about how Alzheimer's may progress
- Spend quality time with the people you love

Early diagnosis also means treatments can begin sooner, when they tend to be most effective. As a myALZteam member once shared, accepting a diagnosis is a whole other matter — but being aware and engaged, like you clearly are, makes a real difference.

Your opinions absolutely matter, and having a voice in your own care is one of the most powerful things you can do. Keep that energy! 💪
