My mum seems to be throwing away knickers because they are poop stained. I was wondering how to help her remember to wipe her bottom after going to the toilet. Would incontinence pants be an option? She sometimes wears 3 and 4 pairs of knickers and I wonder if she's aware there's a problem or could it be the medication she's on causing bowel problems.
My momma wears diapers and I do the wiping and cleaning myself. She's still able to go to bathroom with help. She has to have 24 hr care....

Yes my dad would throw away his underwear all the time. I couldn't figure out where all his underwear was when I was doing laundry. So what i did was hide all his underwear that were left and replace them with depends. It worked. And I don't think he is wiping his bottom. He just puts on new ones. I am waiting for the shower aid people to come in and bathe him but we are waiting to get approved by the state first
There comes a time when you can’t avoid it any more...incontinance pants may be the answer
