My husband has just started talking in his sleep too.. some times it sounds like he is climbing the walls in his sleep.. he has never been this restless but stays quite calm during the day and doses off during the day for an hour or so at a time....he says i talk in my sleep and his paranoia builds on anything i say and it was becoming quite scary so we now have to sleep in separate rooms, if i mentioned a male name he would throw off the covers and grab me yelling that i was having an affair... when awake he knows this is not true but he tells me that in his head it is true just that in his heart he knows its not :} e are just learning to live with each different stage as it comes and treasure the good days xx

Has he been on the Aricept very long. It does seem to give them vivid dreams. My wife had nightmares early in the piece which were very alarming for me and her. I am sure the neighbours thought I was murdering her!! Does he have any blood pressure medication or BetaBlockers? Some of those can also produce vivid dreams and hence, lots of chatting in the sleep.

My Mom talks in her sleep EVERY night. She is angry, then she is giggling like a young girl. In the past she had night terrors, but we increased her meds and she has had only one episode in the last several months. She had several incidents at 1st where she fell while fighting in her sleep and had to go to the hospital. Had a CT scan and later an MRI. We found out then she had also had a couple of light strokes previously. I keep a baby monitor in her room to make sure she doesn't get out of bed and get injured again. It scared me at 1st, but I have gotten used to it.....

It sounds as if taking each day as it comes is a good idea, each day brings a different symptom to deal with.
Try to live as you used to and adjust as it changes.
