Hi Patti,
That's a tough question as people progress at different stages differently dependent on their physical illnesses and other things. I first looked for Memory Cafe's that were for Early Onset. I think they would be good for you. While I found some things very helpful. others were not because I'm a mother and they were spouses.
I don't know if you have any of these groups in your area. Try to find them. I've read a lot, have been trying to find answers but there really aren't any which is hard to accept. Maybe your local Alzheimer's Association will be helpful.
Please do keep in touch.
Finding others at the same stage of Alzheimer's is a great way to connect with people who truly understand what you're going through!
On myALZteam, here's how to find members like you:

Is memory cafe a place or group or ? I guess I need a better map of this group. lol
Memory Cafe's are places where they usually have two groups. One for the caregivers and another with activities for the person with Alzheimer's. I've found them to be most helpful because it's a place you can meet others and speak freely.

This is a good place to start. Many here are going through stages and just reading their post can be helpful. Some of us have walk our loved ones home and we know the struggles to come. While no two journeys are the same there are many similarities that can help you to know what to expect and support you through the valley. God bless you and never stop learning and seeking guidance. It’s the community that helps get you through
