My dad is on it 10mg every day. Seems to be working from progressing this awful disease.. My mom on the other hand takes 10mg 2x a day, it doesn't seen to help her much... So I guess it depends on the individual.

My husband was on it for several years. Hard to tell if it helped. He passed away in February. I stopped giving it to him about three years ago.

My dad was on it for a while. I'm not really sure if it helped or not. My dad died Dec 15th. Just be there with him and give him lots of good love. Enjoy the time you have with him.
