Thank you Pam, The wheelchair is new this unbalanceness is new. We are just introducing the wheelchair as of last week. She does have an alarm that alerts the nurses station when she gets out of bed. I will look into the fidget pillow, that sounds like it would help. Thank you so much.
Is she getting out of the chair or falling forward jf she is falling forward out of chair a fidget pillow that wraps around her waist helps it secures with velcro behind her back and keeps her from falling forward and gives her something to play with. Depending on your state laws some states you can use chair and bed alarms you can't use them in Illinois anymore but they do work it just clips to their clothes and if they try to get up it sounds an alarm Mt MIL used them the last 4 years she was alive we also put thick foam mat beside her bed so if she rolled out of bed she didn't break anything side rails are a no no in Illinois too good luck hope you can figure something out
