A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

My husband is constantly moving his mouth and clicking his teeth together. It seems to be involuntary movement but is very annoying.

My husband went through a period of grinding his teeth, very annoying.

Sorry to tell you, Kay, but we had a year of clacking teeth. Yes, very annoying. I’m not sure it’s common. Just shows your husband and my wife are very special! S

Have you had his teeth checked? My dad did that because he had false teeth and they found that they had become ill-fitting.

My husband clacks his teeth and taps his fingers. Good exercise for hands and jaw. 😜

Thank you, I was sure it is from the alz but it's good for the conformation. It sounds like it stopped at some point, so that's something. My husband is 80 and is the early to mid stages i think, so we may have a long road ahead.
