D perception has been affected by the dementia and he might be aiming right according to what his brain is telling, but his brain lies.😊

I keep a box of antiseptic wet cloths in the bathroom and wipe around the toilet and seat a couple of times a day.

To tell him about it would only bring stress and it wont fix matters.

Car a, that is my problem. He has so many bowel movements a day and leaves all the residue . I am a pro at cleaning toilets. If I show him, of course he denies it. Wow. Does this make any sense? No part of this disease makes sense.!

My Mom doesn’t flush either anymore. Every once in awhile she will. She doesn’t usually know where the bathroom is, she’s lived in this house for 50 years.

Yes, I need to follow him around, because he doesn’t flush, he makes messes, he no longer can clean himself 😭

See? There’s humor to relieve some of the drudgery. We just have to wait for it. 😊
