My mom is in a memory unit and it varies. There are typically 8-9 caregivers to 28-30 residents first and second shift. They add if needed if residents require more care.
Overnight there are 2-4.

The facility I am looking at is 1 to 7 and a nurse on staff on every shift for a 35 patient facility. So it does seem to be better than some.
