Once when I told Momma Nita to yell for me if she needed help during the night she admitted that she sometimes doesn’t remember my name so I put a picture in her room that is labeled with our names. It states we live with her. She still asks where is everyone and who else is there.

Pictures with names is a good idea. I will move all our pictures into the family room. That's where he is in the day. I I know He will forget after but at least I can point out who we are talking about at the time. When my sons and grandson come over, I always say isn't that nice that our son Danny is here. Etc! Thanks! It's so sad.

Momma Nita invites us to spend the night. We thank her and say we’d love to stay. We stopped telling her we already live with her.

My husband asks me where I sleep and wants to know who else lives with us. It's just us.! He knows I am with him all the time but doesn't know I'm his wife (58yrs) or what wife means. He doesn't recognize our children or grandchildren. I am his sole caregiver. He has speech problems that make him hard to understand. One day at a time! God bless!
