My mums limbs twitch and jump when she is dosing during the day.
My husband in the last week is getting so hard to move around. I am his caregiver and his inability to bend and walk is making it almost impossible for me to get him in and out of bed or even to the couch. Is this the progression and if so how do you handle this?
I didn't know there was a way to find out the type of Alzheimer's prior to an autopsy. What has been developed to changed this for a more specific diagnosis?
I know that it might be helpful to know what stage they are in etc., but my husband is aware enough that I think it would be very hurtful for him to hear that he is needing to be tested for this disease. Who does the testing? Am I better off just letting things be and dealing with the day to day situations as they come, rather than KNOWING officially what I already can see happening?
Hi. I car for my mom who has a duel diagnosis of altzhmers and vascular dementia. We have always managed to take her on holiday with us as a family but last year she got very distressed. So am looking for suggestion on where me and my mom can go away with other carers and sufferers in a dementia friendly place
It would have to be in this country and disable your friendly too as my mom is in a wheelchair. I feel it would be a shame for her to miss out and I am hoping that there are some places… read more
Just recently diagnosed but only with requests from family.
How do you know what stage? She has symptoms in 2 of them for sure and a few from other stages.....
