My mother has Dementia and my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's last summer. Is there a way to find out if I have early stage Dementia/Alzheimer's?
My husband also 2014 but he lived till Dec 27,2023 at age 87 he also was on Aricept
What is the difference between vascular dementia and Alzheimer's?

It is simply another hurt in the this journey of the lost.
No Ma'am.
I'm new to myALZteam. In my profile it asks me to "Add Provider". What are you referring to? My PC, my dad's PC? I don't think he sees a Neurologist. (I'll have to check- seems like he should be) !
I believe I put her neurologist when it asked that and if you don't I would've but down his primary care physician hope this helps

When my husband is out of sorts, I think okay, this really is happening. But sometimes (a lot here lately), I wonder could this all be a mistake? Need advice on psychiatric meds, etc. So do I go to appointments using HER insurance? Or go to my own psychiatrist and ask questions about her? (I don't actually have one) How do you manage these things?
And I'm afraid to say to her "you have Alzheimers so I need… read more
Yes. With online appointment it’s nuts. I made an appt for her in my “system”. The check in people freaked out, but i said I’m not leaving until we see someone about this fecal incontinence! It… read more
