Can you take Aricept with Exelon
My mother had Dementia and was on Excelon
I just started taking 5mg 6 weeks ago without any side effects
Doctor just prescribed moving up to 10mg for the next 6 weeks
That’s a good thing i presume
My wife has been giagnosed with early dementia and is taking exelon.
She sleeps over 16 hours a day and I am wondering is this is related to the meds.
I am doing well and writing my 6th children's story!
My husband was told to take vitamin B12 several years ago, at his first neurologist appointment.
I am alert, oriented. I keep my mind busy. I have written6 children's stories , 3 poetry books since told I had FTLD. My books are on Amazon I do not give up. I am the 6th in my family to have it. Donepezil was prescribed for my husband who is in early stage AD. We started with 5 mg. and after 6 months increased it to 10mg. He took it at bedtime and never had an adverse reaction. With the increase to 10mg. he experienced nightmares and diarrhea. The doc said to stop all and start over with 5 for a month and take it in the morning. Now, it is time to increase it again but I'm not sure if that is a good idea. Anyone else have this problem with 10mg ?

My husband takes aricept and namenda and xanix and small paxil. Wd exelon be a better option?
Ask your neurologist what he thinks of the change and what other new treatments could be useful.
Was he ever on psychiatric drugs like Haldol if so could be TARDIVE DYSKANEASIA if so Austedo is good for tremors.
How effective is it in the onset. Will it slow down the process.
My husband is taking Namzaric. His progression is very slow, thank God.
