She cheerfully will wear Depends, but will pull them down and go to the bathroom anywhere. I thought of something like suspenders that would slow her down and give me time to get to her before she goes. My father has been prescribed Ambien for his active wakeful nights. He walks around the house and keeps the family up asking questions. The Ambien only seems to work a few short three hours. I fear this drug is just inappropriate for someone who wakes in a state of confusion and only seems to cause more confusion after a 3 to 4 hour power nap. Anyone else?

My dad has been taking zolpidem for about a week. How long can he take this ?
You would think so. I remember asking the doctor for something for dad when we were up 24/7 with him and they said they couldn't, as soon as he went into hospital they gave him medication
we are not able to watch the TV in the afternoon and evenings as mum sees what is on as real life and happening in our home and she gets very agitated and aggressive.
Does anyone else experience anything like this.

My mother gets up in the middle of the night and is found on the couch with a gallon of ice cream and a spatula. This happens every night. Isn't there a way to get her to sleep through the night? Anyone? I really need help.

He had a bad childhood with a mother who cheated on his father in front of him and left him and 5 brothers to raise themselves. He is always accusing me having boyfriends has hallucinations of me cheating even though I haven't left the house.
