Hi Kenny! That is a great question. Is if fair to manipulate to make your mom do what is best for her in the long-run? Her dementia may not allow her to see the logic in your request. However, if she does, then you get what you want and she gets what she needs. I wouldn't hold it against you, you are just trying everything you can to get her cared for! Your motives are good. Sometimes we have to tell "white lies" or do things not super honest in order to get our loved ones to cooperate. ..
