Hubby has his sleep times backwards, up all night and doing a lot of going in and out of the house several times in the night. I have bells on the doors so not getting much sleep. Hubby was always bery good at fixing things. Not sure if I put a combination lock on back door, that he would just uninstall it and be on his way. Any other suggestions welcome.
I had inexpensive door locks that go at the top of doors. Very low tech. It really depends on how capable the LO is. They are found on Amazon. You have to pinch them to release. My husband can't get them open. They are very popular on Amazon.
I'm looking to add cameras that I can access Alexa here I come and if she wonders an ankle monitor I've seen way to many SILVER ALERTS...You do what is best for your peace of mind as well as protecting your loved one
Installing locks that require a key or combination from the inside can be dangerous and potentially illegal. These types of locks could prevent quick exits during emergencies like fires. Instead, consider these safer alternatives:
• Install a door alarm system with sensors
• Use door covers or murals to disguise exits
