Frontotemporal Dementia
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Is there anyone on this site whose loved ones suffer from frontotemporal dementia. My wife does. It is now becoming quite difficult to have any meaningful conversation.

Yes, my husband has FTD and Primary Progressive Aphasia as well. He was diagnosed just a little over 3 years ago, as he was turning 60. He is in late stages now and in a nursing facility. It has been a swift progression.
