I am interested in trying hyperbaric oxygen treatments (HBOT) for my wife. Does anyone have experience they would share. The medical doctors will not have anything good to say about HBOT. I personally had HBOT for CRVO in my left eye. My doctor called it quackery but after the treatments he did admit that my vision was improved but still would not attribute the improvement to HBOT because it is not sanctioned by AMA. I have had the Beacon 40 for several years and agree that it seemed to help for awhile.
Consider the bright pulsing light treatment as well. Early in my husband’s diagnosis, I felt it made a difference for a reasonable period of time. I got the Beacon40.
Yes I tried for my husband when we find out that he had Dementia after 5 hobt treatment he quit bc he didn't saw any difference on him.
No but I'm always interested in alternative treatments since there's nothing else out there.
