Restlessness, Technical Definition.
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

When Judy goes restless she often says "this is not my home" and panic mode. I have Seroquel , as needed.
It seems to help defer the mood.
I prefer to avoid the med.
Any suggestions to get her through the restless mood?

Depending on her ability and time of day, a walk can be distracting. There's always things to see and talk about.
Does she like a good back massage?

I would have my daughter or a friend call her and talk. She could only babble and didn't understand, but was distracted and happy for a while.

A ride in the car for my sister. We listen to the radio and I point out sights she might enjoy seeing.

Calming music that she liked. Distract her. Take her riding. My husband listens to audiobooks as we ride.
