What Are The Early Symptoms Of Sundowners Syndrome?
My wife has started being very antisocial in the early evenings, not hostile but prefers to be alone. Now going to bed at 7 to 7:30 usually without saying a word. She will be watching TV from the couch, and she gets up and goes to the bedroom and goes to bed without saying a word.

Our nighttime routine has started earlier and earlier over the months. 7:30-8:00p is our current bedtime. By that time of day my husband’s brain is exhausted and he needs quiet. We started maintaining separate bedrooms a few years ago so we could both rest well because we have different sleep habits. My husband has an elaborate ritual so he can wind down and finally drift off to sleep. Heading to bed early is great for me because I get to watch shows in my bedroom and have some down time to recharge for the next day.
that's hard. it's happened here too.
