Does Your Loved One Make Annoying Sounds?

Yes! Drives me crazy. My husband has aphasia so he doesn’t say much. I think the sounds may compensate for the lack of words. If it gets really annoying I will leave the room. I just pray for more patience…for all of us!

Yes, mine has two consistent sounds. Per my observation, I m guessing it's a comfort method that he's developed. He's began to have trouble with verbiage and his attention span is minimal and seriously struggles with keeping himself connected with conversations. When this happens, he will start making his sounds.
