I added Life360 to my husband's phone so I could track him, there is a free option for "tracking your kids" . I also put an airtag in his truck as I switched to an iphone this year. The airtag is connected to his email account, which I manage, and the 360 is an app on his cell phone. He is still carrying that everywhere as he has had one since the bag phones....

I found a lot of these things require data. I got luggage GPS tiles. Was going to put one in his clothes but he passed away. Also if you put a curtain over the door they can't find a way out. Good luck. Hugs
