There is no real way to tell as the disorder affects each person differently. My wife is on Memantine and Donepezil. She can go for weeks with no discernible change, then get worse suddenly. These drugs are rated based on a large number of people over a fairly long time. I have no way to know if my wife would be better or worse without the drugs but since she doesn't seem to suffer any side effects, she will remain on them just in case they do help.

My husband was on both, but after awhile stopped giving it to him because it was not helping at all anymore.
Has anyone tried the infusion drug? Adunmanb??? Spelling???? I know there is another one that's supposed to be approved sometime in January. He hasn't been back to the neurologist in awhile. His primary care suggested he go back for a follow up. Will schedule after the holidays.

My sister is currently taking Donepezil, she is doing much better, but not sure if it’s the Doneepezil or not!!

My husband started taking this in last few months. No side effects. Not sure if it helps. He is taking another med with this one from a research study. Slight improvement in short term memory.
