A Cancer Diagnosis In A Person With Dementia

A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭
San Jose, CA

Hello. Since mid July my dad has been undergoing tests to see if he has cancer. We meet with the oncologist next week to hear the results, prognosis, treatment plan options, etc. My dad understands, but doesn't understand. I have POA. I know that every person and cancer scenario is different, but if anyone has been in this type of situation and can share your story I would be grateful.
