I've been refered to a Neuropsychologist by my neurologist ...I have dementia . I'm 58 , just diagnosed and also Bipolar 1.

All I know is the Psychiatrist that is treating my Mom loves to put her on way too many antipsychotics. We had to take her off everything when she became catatonic. Unfortunately she has bouts of aggression so the Memory Care unit insists she be on something so they are gradually putting her back on meds but we are monitoring it closely. So sad when I see others who don't have family monitoring this for them.
