I appreciate the comment, however she already has a sitter that comes 1 - 3 times a week while my husband and I are at work at the same time (I work 12 hr shifts at the hospital) someone coming in while I am home isn't my idea of having a break. She needs the interaction with people her own age as well as being engaged with activities. She no longer sews or does her artwork (too many choices and decisions to make) so I try to keep her entertained so that she isn't just sitting in front od the TV. Going and taking care of others for 12 hours then coming home to do it again 24/7;until the next shift is burning me out, a day facility once a week that is quality care and engaging is what I need for her.
