Yes she is. Several years Go she had a TIA that affected the communication part of her brain where she could read it, understand it but couldn’t tell you what she read. So now it seems as if it has started to affect her ability to understand sign language as well.

Is she having a hard time doing or understanding ASL? Even though I don’t deal with this I wonder if we could help from our understanding of what it is like communicating overall with some one and then maybe you can fine tune that to work for you and your mom. Just a thought.
