They did not give Jay a spinal tap. Has he seen a neuropsychologist for testing? This is what they had Jay do, (he did so poorly they couldn't even finish a lot of the testing), but were able to determine his diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia (not stroke related).

Sserfass, what kind of information are they giving you? It's a rather rare form of dementia and there isn't much information out there on it. I have tried to find an online support group for this specific diagnosis, but so far, I haven't found anything.
