Dad has used a refillable razor (replaceable blades) for years. But I watched him shave the other day, and he actually scares me with how fast and rough he is. He only nicked himself once that day, but I think it's going to happen more often.
Any ALZ men in your life switch to rechargeable razors for safety or easy? Was it fairly easy for him to switch? Any recommendations? Thank you!
Ive started using Philips Norelco one blade. It has a single flat razor that’s hard to cut oneself with yet shaves well. Check Amazon or any drug store.
It’s great for trimming ears and nose, too.
I bought my husband an electric razor, he has always used blades, unable to do so safely now. He could not turn on , so I nail polished on button ,red , he starts then I follow and get what he missed. Much safer.
Well, I ordered one -- rechargeable foil type -- and it will arrive later this week. I may wait to give it to him on his birthday in two weeks. Just hope he can adapt to it.
I've been trimming his toenails for him for about a year. And he just asked me for help today in trimming his fingernails. I can do these on the weekends every few weeks so not a big issue. I'm really hoping he can manage the razor because I can't be there daily. And he's not ready for another caregiver to come help.
I bought my husband’s as a gift as he is very happy with it.
I bought my husband an electric razor. I know he prefers the plastic disposal but being on aspirin he bleeds for a long time
