My husband likes to go out for coffee everyday. He speaks to everybody.
I think socializing helps.I find it less stressful to shop early when stores are less crowded

Yes, my husband gets anxious with too many people around even our daughters and families. That is why shopping at prime hours is hard and he refuses to go to church. Sometimes not having to go places is more relaxing because I used to worry about him wandering away or what he would say. knowing that people were staring was also disheartening.

Yes, my Mother in Love is more anxious around a lot of people. She evev is anxious at family gatherings. I think it because she doesn't remember who they are and it is embarrassing for her. She always stays very close to me, my husband or our daughter. Right now we are having to watch her when we take her out. She will walk right up to small children or people with babies and start talking. She isn't doing anything but talking to the children but we are afraid someone will not be nice one day when she walks up to them.

Sometimes my husband does. When he was able to go to dinner with me he became uncomfortable eating at the restaurants so we changed to take out and ate at home. Now he is paranoid and accuses people of taking his things even though nothing is actually missing. Delusions are just another part of the disease unfortunately.
