Vascular dementia
Appears miserable, couldn't care less attitude, vacant, all new symptoms I've seen in mum last 24 hours?
Is this a downward spiral for her condition?

Hopefully it was a UTI, and she's on the mend. Sometimes my mum is particularly miserable when she realizes her situation. When she's lucid and understands what's going on it adds she is very down. She has been suicidal, and is now on anti-depressants. She isn't as distressed as previously but still gets times when she is very distressed.
