How do I get my mum to have a shower regularly?. She doesn't wash her hair. Swears and gets in a mood when I approach it. Any advice xx

we do the Saturday shower b/c she also was used to going to mass on Sunday. Maybe a reward after like ice cream or something she likes and would look forward to.
We did the same thing....called the Council on Aging and they sent out a nurse's aide that gave her showers a couple times a week
we keep a calendar so that she can see 1x/week is shower day, usually Saturday b/c she is used to going to church on Sunday.
Don't worry about it. Use dry shampoo and do a sponge bath. Will she go get her hair done at a shop? I did this for three years with my Sally. No odors and skin intact.
I have the same problem with John.when you mention shower and shave he gets very angry.He can be in a very good mood but just mention a shower and gets very angry.he eats good and likes his ice cream.
