Mom is at the stage in her illness that sleeping in a hospital bed would not only be more comfortable but will greatly assist her health care aides with changing and moving positions. I have been told that it is very difficult to qualify for a hospital bed. In addition to alzheimers mom has lupus and recently diagnosed with CHF.

I had no problem getting hospital bed for my mom. If she has Medicare, you can get one through a medical supply store. Her doctors office set everything up.
