Are there any groups or individuals from the Middleburg/Orange Park/Fleming Island/Oakleaf areas who are walking for Alzheimer's tomorrow that would be interested in walking together?

I have been diagnosed with early onset Dementia/Alzheimer's.I have tried Namenda XR ( 1 titration pack plus 3 refills). Neuro told me to stay on it for 3 months.$600 for a 3 month supply. Complained about pain behind the knee. Switched to Aricept 2x daily, and while I loved how I felt on it, same knee problems.Restarted with titration Namenda and started generic. Alzheimers drug, we live in a single family home, she is allowed to drive only to the grocery store, drug store and her favorite thrift stores? I've noticed paranoia, occasionally , illness and travel really throw her off...I'm not ready to live in an assisted living facility..she was the prime caretaker with her mothers alzheimers, she will take her meds... I am always surprised by this disease and it has ramped up my anxiety she has long term care insurance

I bought one for my husband because I can't lift the heavier chairs. It works great except my husband's legs are too long. When he uses the foot rest his knees are in his chest. Is anyone aware of a companion wheelchair that works for tall men. He's not that tall around 5'11". Thanks!
