One more thing Al.
I kept a journal of all our travels.
She loves it when I read it to her. She even remembers parts and pieces when she hears it.
Also read ‘The 36 Hour Day’….
My wife was diagnosed at 63. It didn’t really come as too much of a shock because she had been showing symptoms for a while. Even suspecting that there is something wrong doesn’t really prepare you for the reality of a professional diagnosis.
We made a plan to make the most of the good days she had left and then we really did it. We did a lot of traveling, camping and did a lot of UTV trips with family and friends. She definitely does better surrounded by people she knows.
The traveling days are pretty much behind us now but we’ve had a good run.
I guess that would be my advice to you Al, make the most of the good time you have left.
You won’t regret it.
Good luck!
Thank you for your message, sounds like a great advice.
