Enjoy your time away!! We spend 2 months in FL every year and I plan on us going as long as possible. Always look forward to new memories to hold on to. ❤️

I agree, my husband and I are going to FL for a week. My son is not in favor of us driving to FL with our 2 dogs, he has concerns his father will become a problem. It could be bad or it could be loaded with wonderful memories. We are going back to the community we used to live in, it is true he may not know some of our old acquaintances, but this trip is for me too. I think at this point(he is in the middle stage of Alz) We may not have too many more opportunities to take any trips.

My husband and I still travel. We take anywhere from one to two trips a year. We just make an ocean cruise with Viking in the Mediterranean. We will be taking another cruise in October. My husband does not remember much of the cruise but while we are cruising, he really enjoys it.

@A myALZteam Member, I would love to have coffee with you! Maybe on our "post caregivers " cruise we joked about. By the way, I mentioned the cruise to hubby, and he was happy and said to go for it.!!
