Personally I have nothing to report as we live in France.
For weeks prior, mom kept asking when it was going to happen. Her facility got all the residents glasses and took them outside to view it. She hasn’t said a word about it since then. Totality was pretty cool here in Dallas.
It was a beautiful, sunny day in Arkansas and we were in the path of totality. Emilio slept through it as he sleeps most of the time now. But I sat in my backyard and enjoyed watching it.
We had sunshine and were able to see the eclipse yesterday with the glasses. My dad even saw it at his day care. I watched it as I door dashed. I stopped and enjoyed the rest. Here's a picture of me while watching the eclipse.
We had clouds too. Bob was awake all night the night before the eclipse but fine during the eclipse then this morning he would not wake up and I had to cancel his haircut. He opened his eyes once and asked how soon he could go to bed and get some sleep! I think it was just another day in the life of Bob.
The only thing I have to report is animal activity! It seemed like every dog in the neighborhood started barking, all at once; and the squirrels in the yard were even crazier than usual. It was a non-event for my hubby.
