Is Anyone Having Problems With A Loved One Being Extremely Paranoid?

My hubby thinks that everything I do with my phone is hacked. I tried to set up my old phone to take pictures of my dog while I am away. But he is sure that everyone else will watch and come get all of his stuff.

When my husband couldnt find something, he thought our neighbor took it. Everything had padlocks. At one point he would sit on the porch at night with a gun on his lap. We no longer have guns in our house, the neighbor has moved, my husband is in a SNF, and padlocks have been removed.

My husband thinks his brother gets his stuff. He misplaces it. He brought all his tools and such from the basement to his bedroom because he thought his brother or repairmen would get them.

Both mom and hubs have some unusual responses. Mom thinks people are taking her things and hubs doesn’t trust anyone and hates any technology.
