My husband is not at that stage but I learned during Dementia classes that I've taken that what's prescribed for extreme agitation and anger in Alzheimers patients are the anti-psychotics: risperidone, aripiprazole and olanzapine.

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but gummy, marijuana, gummy‘s, and synthetic marijuana. Gummy‘s were amazing for my husband. The hospice workers couldn’t believe the difference it made for him.

I take klonopin every night. Within an hour I am sound asleep. I think that’s a problem for Alzheimer’s-exhausted but anxiety kept me awake and sometimes irritable. Now I get sleep.
