No, CBD (or marijuana) in gummy form or any other form absolutely does NOT cure Dementia, or anything else. But these things might help to calm the one with dementia, if they have a lot of anxiety.

Unfortunately as of now there is no cure for dementia or altzheimers CBD can help with some of the symptoms but it and Marijuana is not a cure...

@A myALZteam Member -- I'm in NY, where medical marijuana is legal, and is tightly regulated by the State. It requires a doctor's prescription and is dispensed by licensed dispensaries, in various forms. My son with Vascular Dementia due to TBI has severe anxiety and his psychiatrist actually recommended that he try using it, in addition to his prescribed medications. At his first visit to the dispensary, he had a lengthy and extremely thorough discussion of his medications, with the dispensary's pharmacist. (I was there, and I was impressed.) And so far, it is helping him with his anxiety.

My wife takes 28 MG extended release and4.6 Exton patch but it's like 200$ for 90day supply for the patch and 90 dollars for memantine
