That is very hard to deal with, but maybe having a caregiver come in for that task would work. Does she like a back rub or feet rubbed? Maybe enticing her with that would help, or ask her how would you like to clean up today? Offer scented wet wipers and tell her you will put her favorite lotion on for her. So far I haven't had to deal with this, although my spouse forgets to shower and is usually agreeable when I say, "okay today is shower day before we go to the social group. You always smell so good when you put your Brute cologne on."

I heard many of us have same problem.. my husband does take shower about 6times a day .. he doesn’t use toilet and uses shower every time.
I heard someone uses tub and filled the warm water with lavender bath salt or something like that if you have a full bath. To change the look and smell may atract her .. it may or may not work…
