Hi Mike7,
The drugs slow down the progression for a while and quiets the behavior. My husband has been on donipezal and memetine since 2018 and venlaflaxine which is an antidepressant for 2years which have worked well for him. he is now also taking Divalproex also as of April. The amount or strength has been increased over time as he has progressed. I am his only caregiver and he is now in stage 6 and now also has Parkinson. Hope this helps 🌹😊
