How To Discourage Constant Eating?

How can I keep my husband from opening and eating from the fridge. In two weeks he has eaten most of the condiments I keep there. He will take a teaspoon and dip into any , relish, jam , or sauce, eat a spoon full, then return about 20 minutes later and do it again. I have tried to gently distract and encouraged another activity. He gets aggressive and says “leave me alone”. His tone to me is nothing like our marriage has been. Have the same problem with sweets and ice cream, have decided not to have it in the house, he even ate frozen lava cakes that were supposed to be baked….

Yes, he does mostly sweets too, I think he could taste the sugar in the pickling brine.

I have also decided not to buy any more, and I often like certain extras with my meals. Within a week he ate a quart of pickled beets and drank the brine. I don’t understand why he doesn’t get sick, but he seems just fine.
