Does Anyone Know If There Has Been Any Research Done Using Stem Cells As Therapy For Alzheimer's?

Thanks Marilynne, I have been watching a program and they were talking about using Stem-Cells as therapy for Autism and having a lot of success with using Stem-Cells in repairing the brain. Since Alzheimer's is loss of brain function, I am wondering if that was ever tried on Alzheimer's patients as a cure.
