Yes, we had that problem - I think it goes back to not knowing where to go - lack of memory is at least a part of it. It can also lead to anger and frustration until you figure out they just need to go to the bathroom.
My husband has started the same thing. I woke up one night and found him urinating on the upright vacuum cleaner. When I asked him what he was doing, he said he was oiling it. I told him that wasn't oil he putting on it. He got upset that you have to oil machines to keep them running. I got him back to bed and cleaned everything up. It made perfect sense in his mind. I was upset at the time, but I know he doesn't know what he is doing. Now I can laugh (and cry sometimes) about it. I just never what what might happen next.
Absolutely hubby would go to the bathroom than refuse to pull down his pants refuse to sit down and would go in his clothes thank heavens for depends
Some of the most hilarious things Mom did was as sad as it was funny but peeing on your vacuum cleaner to oil it is a new one. Funny and sad. We had a sign on Mom's bucket and chair in her room that said "Pee here". We had adult diapers for Mom and I used several small pieces of duct tape to help keep her at bay hoping we could hear her and help. It worked for us mostly. Many blessings to you
So close. Many blessings to you and yours.
