Does Anyone Know When The New Drug, Aduhelm, Will Be Available?

A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭
Hendersonville, NC

The problem with this treatment is that it would cost $56,000 a year!! However, The FDA said the approval of Aduhelm is based on a "surrogate endpoint" that the drug effectively removed amyloid plaque from the brain. Such an endpoint predicts but does not measure whether the drug will slow memory or thinking decline. Are there trials where someone could participate?
