Try Consumer Cellular. They have a grand pad that would be specific to her needs such as chatting with you, church service. They are great to work with. Sometimes you're on hold a bit longer than normal because of heavy volume but I always get my answers or fix quickly. Check them out.
Do a online search for low cost or even low income internet. You maybe able to get a discount if your mom's income qualifies or free if she is getting food stamps. Try contacting the big companies to see what is offered in your area. It wont be fancy but it will work.
You might want to give any one of the smart speakers a chance. There is so much tech out there that can help but you also have to keep in mind coats. From Apple to Google to Amazon there are choices. You can check Electronic Stores but I would be sure to take someone with you. There are small screens, tablets that stand up, without buying a tv. Check out kids type that can be connected to a smart speaker.
Thank you!
I'm looking for service also. So expensive. $230 per month.
