My mother moved in with our family a couple months ago. She does go my brother’s house on Saturdays to spend the day and evening with him. Yes this is common. I found urine and feces in several trash cans. With these occurrences I didn't discuss it because they are embarrassed. I just cleaned it up. Will see wear regular underwear over the depends. I always called the depends underwear. Bob also had accidents for 1 1/2 years until he was in depends full time. We had to watch him closely for accidents. This is a very tough time.
Hu @A myALZteam Member...joining Bb to welcome you to this caring group...think you should put a commode chair with pot at bedside...not a big deal if it also gets used for a wastebasket by mistake. There are thick incontinence pads mom can wear inside her regular panties.
